 Nothing beats the service a customer would receive right at the door. SPYCE is a local food delivery courier operating in five different cities in the northwest region. 



There are so many great things Spyce has brought to the community, employers, and employees in the last 3 years. Owned by two cousins who work round the table have made the business grow every day. SPYCE is first launched in Terrace in 2019 partnering with local restaurants to deliver local food to customers. It is similar to what Skip the dishes, Door Dash, and Uber Eat offer. I am very impressed with this business as I plan to run my own business offering the same service. Ever since they launched the business they have reached 400,000 orders delivered so far till date. They pay to advertise their business on Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok. 


They have over 20 restaurants in Terrace with different cuisines. 









Spyce operates from 7 am in the morning and runs until 2 midnight. Customers find it so easy to order food online as they have their own app both for Android and iOs users. A few great things about this business are:

  • Credits for missing items and much more. 
After their 1 year of growth now they operate in Prince Rupert, Smithers, Kitimat, Quesnel, and Salmon Arm. Another great thing about their service is they are easily reachable to their customers and courier drivers. They pay Messenger to help connect customers to the admins. Below is a picture of how attractive their page looks when a customer wants to get ahold of them regarding any query. 

 

It shows how well they represent themselves on social media platforms which bring more traffic and engagement between customers and the business. Customer is never left unattended and is well taken care of to continue a good relationship with each other. Having facilities like this attracts customers and brings more efficiency to running a business. 

Let's move forward to another great feature Spyce introduced. Account information, rewards balance, and past order history. Customers can review their contact information and also look up their reward balance. Reward balance can be used for their current order which makes this business look different from others. 


Not only do they offer delivery service but they have started pickup order service as well. Customers can order online and choose a pickup option while they are on their way home. This helps customers save time while waiting in line. Restaurants can sign up for free with Spyce and help grow their business with orders they receive online. Almost 80% of restaurants have partnered with space so far and helped them throughout Covid-19 to help grow their sales. Spyce recently started promotions with Mcdonald's as a free delivery every Wednesday which is a great way to connect to more customers. 


Engagement and Connections

Spyce has pages on different platforms and customers have the option to leave a comment or review about their service. So far the business has about 3500 likes and followers and it is growing day by day. It is a great initiative to have an online presence on Facebook and Instagram. 


I read a feed yesterday that Spyce is going to partner with grocery stores such as Save on and Walmart to help customers order their groceries online and get them delivered at the door. Imagine how much time a customer would save by tapping in a few extra dollars to get a convenient service at the door.
